Round Lake Shoreline - Brick

These broken fragments of red clay brick must have been transported from a larger centre. In rural areas they were used sparingly for chimneys. A masonry chimney was considered the safest, but masonry was often limited to the stack. The usual steel stovepipe would feed into a thimble on this short bit of brickwork.
