Photograh of the Lafleur family

1905: Lafleurs

By 1900, Charles and Martha Lafleur had acquired the Currier farm and stopping place, and although the lumber trade had passed its peak, many a soul did pass through, judging by the postcards their daughter Bella received from family, friends, and would-be suitors.

Many more may write,
But there is none who loves you better,
Than the one who writes tonight.
