Best of Bonnechere - Spirit Bottles

These two spirits flasks were designed to fit easily in a coat pocket. The upper medicine bottle advises that it might be used for treating catarrh (a mucous membrane inflammation) and bears the partial name of a Kingston firm. The middle identifies itself as Davis Vegetable Pain Killer. The small ampoule likely contained a single dose of medicine.
